Migrating from Other Wallets

A step by step guide on how to migrate to Tidus Wallet from other wallets

With Tidus Wallet you can import and transfer your keys from one wallet to another. As we are a multichain wallet we offer interoperability with other wallets such as Metamask, Phantom, Rainbow and Trust wallet. All you need to do is import your keys from those wallets into your Tidus Wallet.

Before we get started make sure that you have Tidus Wallet installed and ready to go.

Migrating from Metamask

Step 1: Get your seed phrase from Metamask. To do so open the side bar, go to settings > security & privacy, then tap on "Reveal Secret Recovery Phrase" and follow the prompts outlined.

Step 2: Open the Tidus Wallet app, tap on the letter icon in the top right corner of the home screen

Step 3: Go to "Account Information". Once there tap on "Import Other Wallets"

Step 4: Select the blockchain of the wallet you would like to import, then input the secret recovery phrase you got from Metamask

And that's it! Your wallet will be successfully imported into Tidus and ready for you to interact with.

Migrating from Rainbow

Step 1: Get your seed phrase from Rainbow. To do so, tap on the clock icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then tap on the settings icon in the top left corner of that screen.

Step 2: Tap on the "Backup" button and select the wallet you would like to backup. If you have your secret phrase already backed up you should see a screen that looks this. Just tap "View secret phrase"

Step 2: Open the Tidus Wallet app, tap on the letter icon in the top right corner of the home screen

Step 3: Go to "Account Information". Once there tap on "Import Other Wallets"

Step 4: Select the blockchain of the wallet you would like to import, then input the secret recovery phrase you got from Rainbow

And that's it! Your wallet will be successfully imported into Tidus and ready for you to interact with.

Migrating from Phantom

Step 1: Get your seed phrase from Phantom. To do so, tap on the letter icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then tap on the account button, then select the account you would like to export the keys of by tapping on the three dots button on the right.

Step 2: On this screen tap on "Show Secret Recovery Phrase", agree to the prompt and tap on "Continue"

Step 2: Open the Tidus Wallet app, tap on the letter icon in the top right corner of the home screen

Step 3: Go to "Account Information". Once there tap on "Import Other Wallets"

Step 4: Select the blockchain of the wallet you would like to import, then input the secret recovery phrase you got from Rainbow

And that's it! Your wallet will be successfully imported into Tidus and ready for you to interact with.

Migrating from Trust Wallet

Step 1: Get your seed phrase from Trust Wallet. To do so, go to Settings > Wallets and select the wallet you would like to get the keys of by tapping the "i" button on the right.

Step 2: On this screen tap on "Manual Backup", input your password and tick the prompts that appear. Once done hit "Continue" and your secret recovery phrase should appear.

Step 2: Open the Tidus Wallet app, tap on the letter icon in the top right corner of the home screen

Step 3: Go to "Account Information". Once there tap on "Import Other Wallets"

Step 4: Select the blockchain of the wallet you would like to import, then input the secret recovery phrase you got from Rainbow

And that's it! Your wallet will be successfully imported into Tidus and ready for you to interact with.
