Connecting to Web3

Connecting to Web3 Dapps is easier than it has ever been with the introduction of WalletConnect V2. Tidus Wallet comes with WalletConnect V2 integrated out of the box so you won't need to worry about any disconnecting sessions and invalid session requests.

Let's take Uniswap as an example.

Step 1: Head over to the Uniswap Dapp.

Step 2: Once there, tap on the "Connect" button at the top right corner of the page

If you don't see Tidus on the first grid, tap on "View All" and search for "Tidus" in the provided search bar.

Step 4: Once selected you will be redirected to Tidus or prompted to open Tidus where you will be shown a prompt to either Accept or Cancel the WalletConnect request.

Step 5: Once accepted you can head back to Uniswap and swap your assets.

That's it your swap should commence shortly after accepting the transaction.

Note: Most Dapps connect multiple EVM based wallets in a single WalletConnect connection request. In these cases it is recommended that both your Tidus Ethereum and Polygon wallets are the same as it is not possible for one wallet to sign a transaction intended for another wallet. This is due to improper integration of WalletConnect by Dapps as they do not distinguish Ethereum, Polygon or Optimism wallet addresses as intended by WalletConnect but instead take the first one submitted and use it across other chains.
