How to Lend & Borrow Tokens

Lending

  1. View Supported Assets: With lending selected, you’ll see the supported assets for the dApp. Common options include USDC/USDT, though different networks may accept various assets.

  2. Select an Asset: Choose the asset you wish to lend.

  3. Enter the Amount: Specify the amount of tokens you want to supply.

  4. Submit the Transaction: Tap the ‘Submit’ button.

  5. Verify the Transaction: Enter your password to authenticate and complete the process.

Collateral

This section shows how much you’ve provided as collateral. Most Lend/Borrow dApps require over-collateralization of assets.

Borrowing

  1. Provide Collateral: You can’t borrow assets until you’ve provided collateral through Lending.

  2. View Supported Assets: With the Borrow tab selected, you’ll see the supported assets for the dApp. The options vary depending on the dApp.

  3. Select an Asset: Choose the asset you wish to borrow.

  4. Enter the Amount: Specify the amount of tokens you want to borrow.

  5. Submit the Transaction: Tap the ‘Submit’ button.

  6. Verify the Transaction: Enter your password to authenticate and complete the process.

Borrowable

Here, you can see how much you are eligible to borrow based on your collateral amount.

Repaying

While you can carry your debt as long as your collateral supports it, it’s advisable to repay your loans. Here’s how:

  1. Select the Repay Tab: View the tokens you’ve borrowed.

  2. Choose an Asset: Select the asset you wish to repay.

  3. Enter the Amount: Specify the amount of tokens you want to repay.

  4. Submit the Transaction: Tap the ‘Submit’ button.

  5. Verify the Transaction: Enter your password to authenticate and complete the process.

Debt

This part of the dashboard displays the amount you’ve borrowed.

Withdraw

You can withdraw your collateral at any time, with the amount depending on how much debt you’re carrying.

  1. Select the Withdraw Tab: View the tokens you’ve lent.

  2. Choose an Asset: Select the asset you wish to withdraw.

  3. Enter the Amount: Specify the amount of tokens you want to withdraw.

  4. Submit the Transaction: Tap the ‘Submit’ button.

  5. Verify the Transaction: Enter your password to authenticate and complete the process.
